The OTM Bristol Children’s Choir

The OTM Bristol Children’s Choir has been running since 2008 and is open to all children aged from seven to thirteen from any school in Bristol.

We sing songs that children are guaranteed to love. The emphasis is on learning about your voice with age-appropriate vocal techniques and helping our members to read music and sing in simple harmonies, all the while aiming for high standards and having fun! A small audition is required to gain entry in which children will need to sing an unaccompanied verse and a chorus of a song of their choice.

About Tom

The choir is run by OTMB’s Director and Founder, Tom Jones.

Whilst still relatively young, Tom has over a decade of experience working with young people in schools across Bristol. He is well known for his inspirational style and is one of Bristol’s leading experts in KS2 music.

He uses this extensive professional knowledge to run the choir and inspire the children every week at rehearsals! Tom is fully CRB checked and First Aid trained.

Performances

The children perform at sell out concerts alongside the OTM Bristol Community Choirs, Orchestra and Chamber Choir at St George’s Bristol.

They also have the opportunity to perform at annual events across Bristol such as the Harbour Festival and the Millennium Square Christmas Market and Ice Rink.
